Insiders guide to Paris
[like]
After our Top Paris Blogs blogpost we decided to contact some of the bloggers we mentioned and we sent them a small questionnaire about Paris. Our goal? To create a small “insiders guide” to Paris and to give to all our readers the possibility to get some useful info about Paris.
As I said, we sent 10 questions to the Parisian bloggers to get a better idea of what to do, what to see and how to enjoy the capital of France. The bloggers that kindly replied to us are the following:
- Eric from Paris Daily Photo
- Jean-Claude from Hello Paris
- Amy from God I Love Paris
- Adam from Invisible Paris
- Rachele from Altra Paris
- Richard from Eye Prefer Paris
- Doni from Girls Guide to Paris
- Kathrin from Paris Reise
- Marie Simon from Inside Paris
And now let’s see the questions we sent them and how the bloggers replied!
Top Rome blogs: find your way in the eternal city

All roads lead to Rome – this saying explains in one sentence how magnificent, fantastic and awe-inspiring is the Italian capital, Rome! The Eternal City is one of the biggest cities in Italy and Europe and is, for sure, one of the most historical attractions in the whole world. Rome was once the capital of the whole world and it is still possible to find evidence of the city’s glorious past.
We already published our A to Z about Rome, but today we want to give you some useful links to blogs dedicated to this amazing city to help you out find more information. Like we did with the top Paris blogs, we’ll give you a valid list of blogs where you can find tips from the locals and fresh news about Rome. Of course, talking about Italy, most of these blogs are about food…so, if you are a food addict, you can’t miss them!
New York Museum Guide
[like]
The Big Apple, New York City, is well known throughout the world for its skyscrapers, its shops, the unique atmosphere of its neighborhoods, from Manhattan to the Bronx, from Brooklyn to Queens, for the shows on Broadway, and for the thousands of movies shot in its streets.

Yeah yeah yeah….but New York is also home to some of the most amazing museums, from the MoMa to the Guggenheim Museum. Of course, if you have enough time, it’s worth visiting all the New York museums, but if you are in New York City just for few days, we would like, with this article, to help you to decide where to go and what to see.
American Museum of Natural History
Let’s start with one of the most famous museums in NYC, the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH). It’s located in the Upper West Side of Manhattan on one side of Central Park and is one of the largest museums in the world. The AMNH comprises 25 buildings for a total of 46 permanent exhibition halls. The collections contain over 32 million examples of taxidermy, fossils, gems, and natural specimens of every description.
5 places to have a really ‘Happy Hour’ in Milan
[like]
Milan is one of the most important cities in Italy and is also very well known as “Milano da bere” – Milan to drink – because of the crazy amount of bars and pubs in the city.
If you are going to visit Milan, to discover its real soul, you have to see and to enjoy its aperitivo: Happy Hour.
Every day, after office hours, many Milanese bars offer you the opportunity to appreciate and participate in the ritual of aperitivo. Bars usually charge a fixed fee for drinks, which is around 5 Euros for a beer (pint) and from 7 to 10 Euros for a cocktail, but during the happy hour (which is actually more like 3 0r 4 hours) the bars set up a buffet, with all kinds of food, where the guests can take whatever they want without any additional costs. So, if you think that the price of the drinks is expensive, bear in mind that you can actually get a dinner for free!

The 10 most amazing city Time-Lapse
[like]
From time to time I’m quite sure that you, like me, are just surfing the Internet trying to find some inspiration for your next trip; perhaps you’re looking for something that can leave you speechless, breathless, and completely astonished.

Some travelers base their decision on a friend’s experience, some of them search for images in Google to find something interesting, some may browse the travel blogs. My chosen method, however, is to search for amazing videos on YouTube and to draw inspiration from there. Having some experience in this, I really would love to share with you these fantastic videos about some destinations I think you shouldn’t miss.
All of these videos are made using a technique called ‘Time-Lapse’: recording whereby the frequency at which film frames are captured (the frame rate) is much lower than that which will be used to play the sequence back. When replayed at normal speed, time appears to be moving faster (and thus lapsing). Okay, this is the theory; let’s enjoy the videos now!
Amsterdam canals: from the sublime to the ridiculous
[like]
With its 165 canals, Amsterdam is famous for its relationship with the water. If you then combine this with another popular facet of the city – its craziness – then you get an amazing collection of fun stuff happening on (and in) the canals.
The Gay Pride Parade
Evey year, on the first weekend of August, Prinsengracht (one of the main historical canals of Amsterdam) hosts the Gay Pride Parade, also known as Canal Parade Amsterdam. During the day the canal is full of all kinds of boats, from the official boat of the Amsterdam municipality to the S&M boat…
For more info on this festival, check the official website www.amsterdamgaypride.nl
