Barcelona A-Z

[like action=like]
Barcelona is one of my favorite cities in the world; it is vibrant, close to the beach, it has great food and wine, it’s cheaper than Amsterdam and there are Zara shops on every street corner. Aside from a very fun weekend getaway, there is also a lot of interesting history to this city. That is why it would be wise to plan your weekend, or if you’re lucky, your entire week, ahead; if you don’t plan some things in advance you might end up soaking the sun and drinking red wine all day. I am aware of the fact that this option sounds just about right for some of you but still, first read our A-Z Barcelona list and get inspired by the city and all the great things it has to offer:

A.
Architecture
The first thing you will notice when arriving in Barcelona is the amazing architecture. Gaudi’s work (we will talk more about him later on) helped a great deal to shape the architecture in the city; creative and open minded.

Everything you need to know before visiting Spain!

[like]

Spain is one of my favorite countries in Europe. The weather is warm most of the time, the food is excellent, ZARA is much cheaper there than the ones in the rest of Europe, (sorry guys, just had to mention it :-) ) and Spanish people definitely know how to enjoy life.

Many cultural things we all know and love come from the Spanish culture: inspiring football, tapas restaurants, Ibiza style parties and of course the beautiful actress Penelope Cruz. If you plan a trip to Spain anytime soon, do some research in advance about Spanish culture. It won’t harm you; it will actually give you the chance to get closer to the local people, a guarantee for a fun experience!

Because our charts of top reviewed hotels of Amsterdam of 2010 was quite a success we Best reviewed Barcelona hotels of 2010decided to do the same for all our Barcelona hotels.

We divided our Barcelona hotel on star class, to see which ones have had the best reviews in 2010. Below is an overview of how we came to the charts for this city.

We took into consideration all the Barcelona hotels with a direct contract with easytobook.com that have at least 10 reviews, to make the results more significant. On our website the reviews are based on a longer period, but we used the reviews written by guests in 2010 only, for more up to date results.

To make sure the comparison is more fair, we divided the hotels on star class. The grouping is as follows:

  • 0 and 1 star hotels
  • 2 star hotels
  • 3 star hotels
  • 4 and 5 star hotels
